It has been MOST helpful that BSL is small and the leadership is accessible. This access has helped our family to support Joseph in crisis and allowed him to continue at home. The advocacy provided by BSL has been instrumental in keeping us informed about Joseph’s rights and how we can navigate beyond his disability to ensure his needs are NOT compromised when bureaucratic and budgetary constraints are at odds with BEST supports and optimal outcomes.
